It is easy to get bogged down in the hustle and bustle of marketing on social media and online in general and just want to jump on to the next shiny thing, but you must focus first on who you are as an individual, the soul behind the brand.
The next step is to think about the type of people you have served and those who share similar interests, then look at your current clients (or potential ones) take note of which group they fall into or if there are any overlaps in these groups that could be a good fit for working with you. This helps you discover where to spend your marketing time and efforts to truly “be right there” with them. Seriously, be where they are and you are already a step ahead!
