About the project in Lindsay’s words…

Before working together, how were you feeling, what was going on that made you reach out?

I was feeling overwhelmed on how to create a membership site since I’m not a web designer/developer. I didn’t want to waste time trying to figure out how to do it, I just wanted to get my product/business out there as soon as possible. I knew the initial investment would pay off if I went “pro” and found someone who could do it (WAY) better than me.

What hesitations did you have about working with me?

I’ve never worked with a designer/developer before, so I wasn’t sure if you would be able to design things according to my branding and make it all cohesive, or if it would be a long process of constant revisions.

What ultimately made you decide to hire me?

You went above and beyond to walk me through, with video, of what you were going to do, and what your plan was. It wasn’t just some random contract. You made it personal, and I really felt like you had my best interest in mind, which made me feel like my “baby” was in great hands.

Let’s celebrate the wins! What results have you achieved since we worked together?

Woohoo! The initial launch gross income has been around $9500, and then obviously the subscription that will pay monthly. Members are saying they finally feel like they found the perfect program for them – one that takes a holistic, long term approach to health that they can use for the rest of their lives, instead of an “overnight” kind of thing where if you miss one day of being “good” then you’re off track. It makes me proud that we were able to give them that and that we were able to get the message across! I also feel really proud of the membership. It’s so beautiful, so functional, so organized, and a place where you actually want to spend time. Yay!!

What was your favorite part about working together?

I’d never used Asana before, but my gosh, SO easy to stay up to date and connect with what’s happening or what needs done. I also loved that anytime (ahem, many times) that I didn’t understand something, you sent videos showing a tutorial. You probably wanted to kill me a few times (myself included) but you were extremely patient with me and truly went above and beyond with your work and to make sure things were done on time.

What would you say to someone who is considering hiring me for a project like yours?

Ingrid is worth every. single. penny! To truly take your business to the next level, you need someone more knowledgeable than you in the areas that aren’t your strength OR where you shouldn’t be spending your time in your business, and this is where Ingrid comes in.

She takes the weight of the world off of your shoulders, and allows you to launch your product so much sooner than if you were trying to do it on your own.
