Your page is losing sales. Find out where.

The Sell-Ready Scorecard is the same seven point audit I run on client pages, turned into a scored worksheet you can run on your own. Roughly fifteen minutes and a pen, and you stop guessing which part is broken.

Free, obviously. It lands in your inbox in about a minute.

What is inside

Seven checks, three points each, one number at the end.

It is built on my RAINBOW method, the audit I have been running on client pages for years. Each letter is one thing your page has to do, and each one gets scored.

R

Reaction upon landing. The first three seconds. Whether a stranger can tell what you sell and who it is for before they scroll.

A

Ameliorating. Where your page stops describing the problem and starts being the fix.

I

Irreplaceable and unique. Whether a competitor could paste their name over your page and have most of it still be true.

N

Naming your authority. Whether your proof sits where the doubt actually happens, instead of buried at the bottom.

B

Busting objections. The three real reasons people say no, and whether your page answers any of them.

O

Offer introduction. Whether a reader can say exactly what they get, in what form, and what happens after they pay.

W

Window of opportunity. A reason to act now that happens to be true.

+

Your score, and what it means. Three bands, each with a different answer. Tighten it, fix the one leak, or start over.

Who this is for

Grab it if any of these sound familiar.

  • You are getting traffic, the numbers look fine at the top, and almost nobody is buying at the bottom.
  • You cannot tell whether it is your offer, your words, or your design, and you would rather not spend money rebuilding the wrong one.
  • You have read your own page so many times that you have stopped being able to see it.
  • You have a launch or a big selling season coming and you want to know now, not after.

Fifteen minutes now beats a whole season of wondering.

Why this audit and not a generic checklist

The structure it scores is the one I use on paid work.

21.46%

Conversion rate on a landing page built to this structure.

2.5–3%

Industry average for ecommerce. Online courses run lower, at 1.5 to 2%.

10.32%

What Dolly hit using my Tisane sales page template, which is built on the same seven points.

“All I needed was a fresh set of eyes. I really did not think I could have pulled it off on my own.”

About Ingrid

Ingrid Urena, founder of Penguin Designing

Hi hi, I am Ingrid

I build brands and websites that work as hard as their founders do.

Strategy first, design second. I am an official Showit Design Partner, a Shopify Partner, a Flodesk Instructor and a HoneyBook Educator, and I have been doing this since 2013.

I made this scorecard because of one thing I watch happen over and over: someone knows their page is underperforming, cannot tell which part of it is at fault, and either does nothing or rebuilds the wrong layer. Both are expensive.

Nobody gets to read their own page the way a stranger does. This is the closest thing to borrowing their eyes for an afternoon.

Go find your number.

Seven checks, twenty one points, about fifteen minutes. Whatever it comes back as, it is information you did not have this morning.
